This multi-award winning tour was launched in 1996 as a pioneering project in Arts & Tourism. Presented as a dramatic duologue, a hilarious duel of wits ensues performed by professional actors across 300 years of great writing and colourful characters. Its success is probably due to it sticking to tried and tested “lines”...... albeit spiced up with a large dose of dramatic verve!!
The Edinburgh Literary Bus Tour
This award winning tour has been made even more flexible with the introduction of three new packages on a pre-booked basis, to make it more accessible to smaller groups. Scheduled tour departures around the Edinburgh International Book festival dates will not be available in 2008 due to extensive roadwork's throughout the city but will resume in 2009, however we offer a range of three private tours for groups of 5,6 and 15. The Makars Literary Tour
